Urgent Update: The Social Security Fairness Act is Now Law!

The Social Security Fairness Act, signed into law on January 5, 2025, marks a monumental victory for over 3.2 million public servants, including teachers, firefighters, and police officers. This legislation repeals the unjust Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO), which for decades have unfairly reduced or eliminated Social Security benefits for those receiving non-covered pensions.

You will receive official notices detailing these changes. Please wait until April before contacting the SSA regarding your payments to allow for processing time.
